About the Opportunity
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and commenting on the terms and conditions of contracts to reduce company exposure to risk and potential liability.
Job Duties:
  • Analyze all client, subcontractor, and vendor contracts to ensure that appropriate language in included.
  • Prepare and administer subcontractor contract packages and change orders.
  • Request, collect, analyze and maintain all necessary contract submittals, including current certificates of insurance.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation and information in project contract files.
  • Perform necessary data entry to maintain and update appropriate project information.
  • Exercise a high level of discretion in all matters, especially in communications regarding sensitive and confidential information.
  • Assist subcontractors with obtaining required badges to access restricted job sites.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Paralegal Certificate, or a degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, is preferred.
  • At least 2 years’ previous work experience as a Contracts Administrator for a construction company.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks with ease.
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy and careful attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and be flexible.
